Walimah of Raqeeba Carswell
DJ Services Contract for Raqeeba Carswell:
DJMALIKAB of MalikaB Ltd. Co, agrees to be present and play music for the Walimah of Raqeeba Carswell at Jamila’s Event’s Venue: 1601 McDonough Place, 30253 on December 6th 2025 totaling 4 hours. Set up Arrival at 2pm. Walimah begins at 3 pm until 7 pm.
● DJ will arrive about an hour prior to start time for a quick set up at 2 pm. Please have a table setup and location for the DJ that fits your venue and beautiful vision of the walimah, that also includes an outlet to plug in equipment and speakers.
●DJ will also attend a venue “walk-through” rehearsal, if the bride prefers, prior to the walimah to ensure an easy setup and understanding of the wedding vision/procession.
The musical selections will range in genres and tempo, according to the requested suggestions from the Clients and the DJ MalikaB’s own collection. All music will be high quality in sound, clean and free of profanity and suggestive lyrics if you prefer clean versions. DJ will also have playlists on soundcloud, youTube and Tidal made for the event in case a technical issue arises. Also wi-fi, and or a hotspot should be set up in the venue to ensure smooth musical transitions.
DJ MALIKAB will reserve this time exclusively for the client and will arrive in a timely fashion to set up to ensure that the event begins on time. However, Client must also adhere, as best as possible, to agreed upon timing. I do understand weddings can have delays. DJ MALIKAB will be in close contact with bride Raqeeba or family to adjust for any schedule changes, incidents, delays, etc.
CLIENT AGREEMENT:
● Client is responsible for sending several lists of songs and artists to be played by DJMalikaB to ensure the ambiance of the guests and event is desirable to the bride/groom. (This can be done via Zoom calls with the bride and groom later.)
● Hourly Cost of services is $135. $540 is the total balance for 4 hours from 3-7pm. A retainer 50% deposit of $270 will be due upon receipt.
● The remaining balance of $270 can be paid the day of, or prior to the event preferably, as weddings get hectic and people forget. Payment can be paid on the day of as well. Reminders will be sent on the day of. Cash is still accepted, too.
●A payment link will be created for your deposit and remaining balance on my website. If payment preference is via Zelle, please use phone number 404-861-5868, Naaisha Austin, or cash-app: $DjMalikaBBB. Venmo is an option as well: @Naaisha-Austin
● Receipts will be provided via Square invoice or separate email for your records.
● If timing needs to be extended for the event, the client/family will quickly discuss additional hourly fees with the DJ before or during the event. At $110 per additional hour.
● In the rare event of an emergency or rescheduling, the deposit is refundable, however the remaining balance will not be due, or can be refunded if already paid to DJ.
I have read, understood and accepted the above contract conditions.
